THE APOSTOLIC LIGHT

The Apostolic Light is a Christian not-for-profit organisation grounded in the Orthodox tradition. Its purpose is to support individuals in developing a deeper relationship with God through prayer, spiritual guidance, and the practical application of faith in daily life.

Our Beliefs

  • Belief in one God, the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as the creator and sustainer of all life

  • Belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, whose life, teachings, death, and resurrection are central to the Christian faith and guide spiritual life and conduct

  • The Holy Scriptures (the Bible) and the sacred traditions of the Orthodox Church as the foundation for understanding faith and living a Christian life

  • The importance of prayer, reflection, and regular spiritual practice as a means of drawing closer to God

  • The pursuit of Christ-like virtues, including humility, discipline, integrity, compassion, and self-control

  • Personal responsibility for one’s actions and spiritual development, with an emphasis on inner transformation and growth

  • Living out faith through service to others, and care for the wider community

  • Recognition that the whole person, including thoughts, actions, and daily conduct, is called to reflect faith in all areas of life

Our Activities

The Apostolic Light carries out its mission through a range of activities designed to make Orthodox Christian teachings accessible and to support individuals in their spiritual growth.

These activities include:

  • Bible study and reflection gatherings, where participants engage with Scripture and explore its meaning and application in daily life

  • Ongoing devotional content, including daily or weekly reflections (such as Daily Light and Strength), offering guidance, encouragement, and spiritual insight

  • Spiritual guidance and pastoral-style support, helping individuals navigate personal challenges through a faith-based perspective

  • Faith-based teaching, focused on discipline, resilience, and the practical application of Christian values in everyday life

  • Sacred music as a form of spiritual reflection and inspiration, supporting prayer, contemplation, and engagement with faith

All activities are open to the public and are intended to provide guidance and support for spiritual growth.

The Apostolic Light is led by its founder, Zoran Cunjak, who is committed to the Orthodox Christian faith and to supporting others in their spiritual journey.

The organisation is guided by a desire to offer encouragement, understanding, and practical guidance, helping individuals grow in faith and navigate life with greater clarity, strength, and purpose.
