The Quiet Voice

“Look within. Within is the fountain of good.” — Marcus Aurelius

Marcus Aurelius encouraged regular reflection and self-examination. By looking inward honestly, we gain insight into our motives, values, and habits. Reflection strengthens judgment because it helps us understand ourselves more clearly. A thoughtful life is less likely to be controlled by impulse.

“A still small voice.” — 1 Kings 19:12

God often speaks through quiet conviction rather than dramatic displays. In a noisy world, discernment requires stillness, patience, and attentiveness. Listening is a spiritual discipline. When we slow down, reflect, and pray, we become more capable of recognizing God's guidance and responding wisely.

Wisdom often grows in silence before it appears in action. Listen carefully, reflect deeply, and allow both prayer and contemplation to shape your decisions.
